Liverpool beat Manchester City 2-1 at Anfield in the Premier League and were well worth their victory. Here are THREE Things we learned from Liverpool’s defeat of Man City:
Everything seemed to run through the Brazilian today as he constantly found space in between the lines of City’s attack and defence. However, Coutinho also must be credited for creating chances for himself by winning the ball back high up the pitch via some impressive pressing. The boy has everything in his locker to be a star.
Superb result today for @LFC . Coutinho is in ridiculous form recently

On CURRENT form I must admit Coutinho has been better than Eriksen.

Or was he dragging? Either way, the Man City captain is going through a very rough patch of form. Everything looks a bit forced by the Belgian right now. And it has for a very, very long time.
Kompany should probably stop talking and focus on his worrying personal form.

Is Kompany still "one of the best defenders in world football"? Been out of form for at least two years now

Liverpool’s captain in waiting proved why he’s deserving of the armband with a Stevie G-esque strike to open the scoring. With 10 goals and 4 assists already to his name this season, Henderson is gone from the once much-maligned to the now widely-celebrated. It’s been a slow process for the midfielder but one that is wholly deserved.
Henderson put in that shift today, looking like he can take Stevie G's place

After seeing that goal from Henderson, I think Stevie G has finally passed the torch.
