It wasn’t the best game of football but there was still a lot to take from Newcastle’s defeat of Liverpool. Here are the THREE Things we learned from the game at St. James’ Park:
Some expected Pardew to start the teenager after his impressive display against Manchester City but Aarons had to wait on the injury to Obertan for his chance. Again the winger looked exciting against Liverpool. Expect a lot of hype. But Aarons does have a lot of talent.

Playing really well, optimistic we can actually get a result here like! Aarons is a top prospect, raw pace and skill to burn.

Liverpool made an investment for the future when they bought the full-back pairing of Manquillo and Moreno in the summer. However, the problems at Liverpool are very much in the present. Both defenders have made too many mistakes already this season, with Moreno directly at fault for Perez’ goal today.
Moreno mistake cost us weren't brilliant but borini to start vs madrid why doesn't balotelli run hard surely a player you work hard ?

Mignolet may have saved well from Cabella one-on-one but shot-stopping has never been the Belgian’s issue. The keeper was again shaky when coming for corners and Rodgers needs to bring in a goalkeeper in January if he is to see an improvement in his defence’s confidence.
Mignolet and Lovren need to be dropped. Jones and Kolo can't be any worse, and Sakho's back soon.

Mignolet is the biggest flap artist in the league
