Jadon Sancho will leave Borussia Dortmund this summer. That is according to Sky Germany reporter Jesco von Eichmann. And, according to The Daily Mail, Liverpool have already made it clear to Die Schwarzgelben of their desire to make a move for the 19-year-old. They also add that Manchester City are also expected to make a bid, whilst Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United are all interested.

Now, James Pearce has been asked on Twitter what his take on the news is. He has said that he would be "very surprised" if that were the case, and that Timo Werner would be a "cheaper and more likely option".

In that Daily Mail report, it says that BVB are expected to demand at least £100m for their winger's services which, of course, is a substantial amount of money. Werner, meanwhile, would cost between €55m-€60m (£45.8m-£50m) due to a release clause in his contract - but the Reds are said to have only until April to activate it.

Meanwhile, Liverpool fans react to Anfield's expansion update.
