Fresh from his latest mistake, it looks as though Simon Mignolet will still be receiving a new contract from Liverpool, according to the Daily Star.
Mignolet has been at Liverpool since 2013, when he joined from Sunderland in a £9m deal, but he has had a pretty turbulent time at Anfield.
Several costly errors have made him a liability at times, but it is believed that the club are still expecting him to extend his current deal.
Liverpool’s brief revival under Klopp has hit a slightly rocky patch of late, including a Mignolet mistake against Bordeaux, where the Belgian held the ball for too long and cost his side a goal.
The stopper also made a humiliating mistake as Liverpool drew at home with West Brom over the weekend, and the ex-Black Cat is hardly inspiring confidence at the moment.
