Want to look like Liverpool’s heroes of the ‘90s? Step this way…

We’ll get the elephant out of the room to start with… Liverpool weren’t very good in the 1990s. Transitioning from the dominant period of the ‘70s and ‘80s was always going to take some doing, and under the guidance of Graeme Souness and Roy Evans things slipped a little at Anfield.

Alas, the club still achieved some success on the pitch and brought through a host of impressive players such as Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler, Jamie Redknapp, David James and Steve McManaman… or as they’re otherwise known, ‘the Spice Boys’.

The white suits sum up the era, but on the pitch things were a little more stylish, and we at Football FanCast (because we’re lovely) have teamed up with Classic XI Shirts to offer a special giveaway for a lucky fan.

Just follow the instructions from the tweet below and you will be in the running to win a 1996/97 season replica home shirt.
