We don’t need him: Liverpool fans are not interested in a Coutinho return

According to ESPN FC, Barcelona will make Philippe Coutinho available for transfer at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Coutinho, who joined Barca from Liverpool in January 2018, has largely failed to impress for the Spanish champions.

The 26-year-old was poor against his former club at Anfield on Tuesday night, and according to ESPN FC, the Catalan giants will listen to offers of around £90m for the 26-year-old.

The Liverpool fans have been on social media reacting to the transfer claim.

And it would be fair to say that the majority are not interested in their club re-signing the Brazil international in this summer’s transfer window.

Ironically, the Reds are expected to be in the market for a player with Coutinho’s skills, but it seems unlikely that the 5 ft 8 ace, who has managed just five La Liga goals this season, will be heading back to Merseyside.
