Liverpool want to bolster their defensive options with the signing of Aaron Cresswell from West Ham this summer, according to The Sun.
Currently in Cresswell’s favoured left back position, Liverpool possess Alberto Moreno and Jose Enrique, whilst Jon Flanagan and Nathaniel Clyne have also filled in at points during this campaign.
The Reds are aiming for European football again next season, and Cresswell is reportedly a key target for Jurgen Klopp.
Cresswell has been one of West Ham’s most consistent performers this season as the Hammers also push for a European berth.
The club are sitting in sixth position in the Premier League, five points from a Champions League spot, and Cresswell has been a key player, chipping in with two goals and four assists in 43 total appearances this year.
Whilst West Ham will want to keep hold of one of their mainstays for next season The Sun claims £15million could prove too good to turn down for the east London club, earning them a big profit on the player.
The 26 year old left back has been at the club since 2014 following a £4million switch from Championship side Ipswich Town.
