Man City and Man United to battle for new defender?

We may just be two games into the season, but the excitement has us all already on the edge of our seats.

Last weekend’s shock result was West Ham United putting Arsenal to the sword to come away with a 2-0 victory at the Emirates, and this time around two 3-0 score-lines completely shocked the world.

First was on Saturday, with Southampton somehow being undone 3-0 by Everton at St. Mary’s, while champions Chelsea simply had no reply to Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero inspired 3-0 victory.

And while Manchester United got another win, their display was far from impressive, hinting that manager Louis van Gaal could still spend in the summer transfer market.

It is likely that the Red Devils WILL complete a signing this month, with a striker high on their list.

Arsenal too are after a striker, despite Olivier Giroud’s brilliant scissor kick against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

And although Man City looked unbeatable against Chelsea, they are ready to convince a heavily coveted Man United target to the Etihad.

Here are Last Week’s Top Transfer Stories as we head into the final two weeks of the window!
