Man United boss’ dodgy excuse, six crazy Chelsea months summed up

Even though the transfer window has hit somewhat of a lull in recent days as we gear up for the season’s big kick-off, there are still plenty of talking points out there for football fans to get well and truly stuck into. And one of these surrounds some bizarre comments made by Louis van Gaal… who claimed that his Manchester United side is not truly his own yet! Okay then, Louis!

Yes, the Dutchman has only been at Old Trafford for just over a year, but with a vast spend of well over £200m behind him, surely the Red Devils are now moulded into the sort of unit he would like? After all, if they’re not, serious questions have to be asked.

Moving on, a picture of Andre Schurrle and Petr Cech lining up against each other in Wolfsburg and Arsenal colours also surfaced following their recent Emirates Cup clash, summing up a bizarre six months at Chelsea in which a World Cup winner and one of the club’s all-time greats have both departed.

Our very own Marcus Speller has taken a look at these issues, and much, much more, in the below video. So sit back, and enjoy!
