Man United, Chelsea… could this be a transfer green light?

Gareth Bale has been in Madrid for nearly two seasons now. His debut campaign was one of triumph and glory as helped Real to their 10th European Cup – scoring in the final – but this term has been quite a different story. All has not be rosy for Los Blancos of late, and ‘El Clasico’ defeat yesterday left them truly in great rivals Barcelona’s wake in the La Liga title run-in, angering fans.

And it seems that the rage boiled over after the final whistle, with supporters taking out their frustration on Bale’s white Bentley. Pictures (below) have emerged of supporters chasing the Welshman’s car and hitting the windows, with the ex-Spurs man very much one of the focal points of the ill-feeling in the Bernebeu stands.

Although the image is shocking, it’s actually potentially good news for Manchester United and Chelsea, with the pair thought to be keen on luring Bale back to England. Surely he’ll be more open to a transfer now?
