Man United & Chelsea given fresh hope for record smashing deal

Manchester United and Chelsea’s hopes of a stunning move for Juventus’ Paul Pogba have been given a boost, with the midfielder’s agent having talked up a potential summer exit for his client.

The 21-year-old Frenchman left the Red Devils in 2012 as a youth star after failing to make the grade at Old Trafford, and has since flourished in Italy.

Pogba has claimed two Serie A titles and broken into the Les Bleus international set-up, with his powerful frame and athleticism making him one of the planet’s most sought after players in his position.

United and Chelsea have been watching his progress of late with a view to raids, with a £75m fee likely to be enough to sway the Turin giants towards a deal.

And now Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has confirmed that the youngster will move on if he wants to at the end of the season:

“Everyone thinks that Paul will leave Juventus, but that’s not guaranteed,” he is quoted by talkSPORT.

“Ligue 1 and PSG are not too small for Paul. All the big clubs are interesting to us, regardless of the league.

“We respect the leagues in France, Germany, England, Spain and Italy.

“Everything depends on what Paul himself and Juventus want. If it’s the moment to leave, then he will leave.”
