Man United & Chelsea head-to-head for £15m one-in-two strike star

Both Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping tabs on in-form Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niasse, according to reports from the Guardian.

The 25-year-old was recently voted the Russian Premier League’s player of 2015 and has been electric in front of goal this term with 12 goals in 21 outings.

This form is understood to have alerted a host of clubs from across Europe, and reports suggest that both United and Chelsea have had scouts watching the Senegalese hit-man in recent months.

As well as the two giants, Spurs, Everton, Newcastle and Aston Villa are also keeping tabs on Niasse, whose pace, power and clinical edge in front of goal are likely to earn him a move to one of Europe’s traditional elite divisions.

He could be a good fit at both Chelsea and United after shining in a 4-3-3 set-up with Lokomotiv.
