Man United & Chelsea transfer boost… top class target ‘unhappy’

Manchester United and Chelsea target Marquinhos is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain and wants regular first-team football, according to reports from The Express.

The Brazilian centre-back has been with the Ligue 1 champions since the summer of 2013, but has struggled to hold down a regular starting berth following David Luiz’s arrival at the club last year.

The ex-Chelsea man partners fellow Brazilian Thiago Silva at the heart of the Parisians’ defence, and the pair have established themselves at French football’s dominant defensive force.

Both United and Chelsea were linked with Marquinhos over the summer and could be lured back in for him in 2016 if the 21-year-old unhappiness manifests itself in a concrete desire to move on.

Jose Mourinho’s Blues are understood to have had a £30.6m offer for the player rebuffed during the last window, while United have been aligned with him on several occasions.
