Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-Min was one of the heroes for his team as they advanced to the semi-finals of the Champions League despite a 4-3 defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday, and Manchester United fans were quick to react to his display.

With a few key players missing – including Harry Kane – and with only a slender one-goal advantage from the first leg Spurs looked to be up against it, but Son stepped up with a first-half brace to help the visitors on their way.

The second goal in particular was a beauty as he curled into the far corner, and his goals and performance in general didn't go unnoticed by United fans on social media.

Some would clearly like to see him in a red shirt and that is no surprise given he has scored 20 goals and provided a further 10 assists in 42 appearances in all competitions this season.

Compare that record to the likes of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard and it is no wonder that there are some envious eyes in Manchester, but it would surely take a huge, huge fee to prise him away to Old Trafford.

Which iconic Premier League team from the past would be a match for the Man City of today? The Pl>ymaker FC squad discuss in the video below...

Loads of Red Devils had their say online, with one saying "Son is better than Martial and Rashford combined", while another said "I would love Son at United next season".
