Roy Keane believes that Arsenal are not up to winning the Premier League title this season, not because their players aren’t good enough, but because they don’t have the right attitude.
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, the former Manchester United captain Keane believes that Arsenal are too interested in six packs and selfies to win the Premier League title.
Keane is famed for his ‘hard-man’ approach to the game and clearly doesn’t take too kindly to the breed of celebrity footballer who shares his life on Instagram and cares more about how his hair looks.
He told the Mail on Sunday: “Instead of focusing on winning Premier League titles, it’s all about how their bodies look, how their hair is, more so than winning football matches.”
Keane believes that Chelsea are still the team to beat this season because they have the best squad, and was critical of Manchester City’s summer recruitment, adding: “Look at all the players they’ve bought; I’m not sure many would get into the Chelsea team anyhow.”
