Man United & Man City target won’t rule out Juventus exit

Although he says that he’s happy at Juventus, Arturo Vidal has refused to rule out a move away from the Old Lady amid interest from Manchester City and Manchester United.

The Chile international was linked with a switch away from Turin for much of the summer, but eventually opted to stay with the Serie A champions for the current season.

United were the side most actively chasing Vidal during the last window, and although their pursuit ended in disappointment, Louis van Gaal is believed to have maintained an interest in the 27-year-old.

City are also in the mix, with more recent reports having revealed that the reigning Premier League champions are looking at potential long-term replacements for Yaya Toure, who has been linked with a money spinning switch to PSG.

When quizzed on his future by Radio Cooperativa, Vidal admitted that he’s happy at Juve, but that his agent will have a big influence:

“Manchester City want me? I’m happy at Juventus because here I feel at home,

“However, I have a person who occupies himself with the transfer market and that’s my agent. He thinks about these things…”

Vidal is valued at around £40m and has been a key member of Juventus’ set-up during their three back-to-back Serie A title successes.
