Manchester United target Neymar has been tipped by his agent, Wagner Ribeiro, to make a mega money move to Paris Saint-Germain in the near future, according to L’Equipe.
The 24-year-old Barcelona star has been a target for the Premier League giants ever since the previous summer, with a £140million bid even said to have been tabled.
He is now believed to be in talks with his current club over the possibility of extending his contract which will expire in 2018.
The Brazil international has a buyout clause set at about £154million, but Ribeiro admitted that PSG have the financial power to table the mentioned amount, a fee that would open talks over a possible move.
“Neymar has a contract with Barcelona until 2018 and he is feeling very good at Barcelona,” he said.
“We will see what happens in two years’ time when his contract expires. If PSG showed an interest in signing Neymar, we can always discuss it.
“A contract can be resolved if the buy-out clause is met. Neymar’s buy-out clause is huge, it’s 193m euros, but I don’t think that would be an insurmountable problem for PSG.”
Interest from the Red Devils have cooled down in recent months as they are still unsure whether they can finish the current campaign with a Champions League spot.
The forward has already featured 39 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score 27 goals while providing another 23 assists.
