Arsenal travel to Old Trafford this afternoon looking to close the gap on Premier League leaders Leicester City.
Arsene Wenger’s side grabbed a last minute winner against Leicester at the Emirates Stadium a fortnight ago and will want to keep up the pressure Claudio Ranieri’s Foxes with another important three points against their old Premier League foes Man United.
Man United are still in with a chance of a top four finish and can close the gap between themselves and fourth placed Man City to just three points with a much needed victory over the Gunners this afternoon.
However, Louis van Gaal is without a whole host of key players due to something of an injury crisis hitting the former Premier League champions in recent weeks.
Given United’s injury problems at present many will have Arsenal down as favourites this afternoon, but history in the fixture tells us we’re certainly in for a cracking 90 minutes of football.
Here are the confirmed starting XIs for both sides…
