If you haven't heard, Manchester United are in Europa League action tonight against Fenerbache- and one man has caught our eye early on, with the Red Devils still wasting his ability.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was signed amongst Jose Mourinho's £150m spending spree at Old Trafford this summer but the Armenian continues to find himself outside of the match-day squad, which has left us scratching our heads considering his tremendous season for Borussia Dortmund last term.

Mkhitaryan was one of Europe's deadliest players last term but he's struggled to establish himself in Mourinho's eyes, although to be fair to him he hasn't really been given a chance. He's played just four games in the Premier League since his arrival, with three of those appearances coming off the bench.

It's a really weird situation given the money that United spent on his services and it begs the question as to why he was signed in the first place. Did Mourinho really want Mkhitaryan's signature? At this point in time, it doesn't seem it.

Naturally, Twitter was very confused.
