Man United’s £27.5million man in a world of his own

When things aren’t going your way, it sometimes is better to just hold your hands up and admit defeat; that is exactly what Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini should’ve done during tonight’s Premier League clash with Southampton. However, as we approach the 90-minute mark of the clash at St Mary’s, the Belgium international somehow remains on the pitch.

The former Everton midfielder was at fault for Southampton’s equaliser when he, firstly, gave possession away cheaply in the middle of the park and then, from the cross that came about due to his conceding of possession, missed the header which would’ve cleared the danger and eased the pressure on Manchester United’s defence.

If that wasn’t bad enough for the midfielder, Fellaini then – perhaps due to over eagerness in wanting to redeem himself – tries to read the game and, well, see how badly he fails for yourselves below.
