Man United’s talisman as you won’t remember him!

Wayne Rooney has, to date, had a cracking career, and as the striker is currently captain of Manchester United and England, things don’t look like they will be on the decline any soon.

The now-29-year-old exploded on the scene when he rifled a beauty past Arsenal’s ‘keeper David Seaman as a youngster playing for Everton and the forward hasn’t looked back since!

Since moving to Old Trafford in 2004, Rooney has banged in 164 goals 319 appearances across all competitions and is tipped to finish his career as the Red Devils’ highest ever goalscorer – Rooney is also close to bagging the same acknowledge for Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions.
