Manchester City fans have taken to Twitter to react after Oleksandr Zinchenko put in an excellent performance against Chelsea, racking up two assists as the Cityzens smashed the Blues 6-0.
The Ukraine international was making just his fourth Premier League start of the season having struggled to get into the team ahead of Aymeric Laporte and Benjamin Mendy, but showed no signs of rustiness getting up and down the left flank.
At just 22 years of age, Zinchenko always seems to play well when called upon, showing signs of a true professional as he waits patiently for his chance to come and takes it with aplomb when it arrives.

It’s certainly hard to choose another player as the man of the match after Sergio Aguero hit a hat-trick against Maurizio Sarri’s men, his second consecutive treble at the Etihad Stadium after also bagging one against Arsenal previously.
However, some of the champions’ fans on Twitter earmarked Zinchenko as a worthy candidate for the award alongside Aguero…

Feared Zinchenko might be prone to a mistake but, trust in Pep, and Zinchenko was solid. All round brilliant performance. Mahrez did no wrong, but muted perhaps. Ederson mostly bored. CTID! C'mon City, we got this! #MCFC #MCICHE

One player who should have got more praise today was Zinchenko. What a baller. It’s hard to believe that he’s only 22-years-old and that he used to be an attacking midfielder. By the way he played today, it looked like he was 28 and been playing left back since day one 👏 amazing
