In the Premier League, players tend to perform and concentrate more in a fierce derby match against their rivals in order to please their respective supporters. As we've seen already in the Tyne Wear derby in the North East at St. James's Park between Newcastle United and Sunderland, both sets of players did their upmost to gain a valuable three points in order to avoid the drop. However, a 1-1 score line was probably a fair result.

In an even more much anticipated derby between Manchester City and Manchester united, one player has managed to outrage every fan in the Premier League through his derisory performance.

Veteran centre half Martin Demichelis has produced one of the worst performances in a derby.

The 34 year old was at fault for Rashford's finish after lunging in on the youngster ad was beaten with ease, while other errors that could've been more costly and the Argentine being partly to blame for Joe hart's calf injury has resulted in Demichelis becoming a liability in the Manchester City side.
