Representatives of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan have dismissed reports suggesting the player had agreed a deal with Manchester City, according to German newspaper Bild.
With just a year to go on his contract, the 25-year old has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer.
A reunion with former manager Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool has been suggested, though a switch to the Etihad is the most widely reported move.
There had been suggestions he was set to become one of the first arrivals of the Pep Guardiola era, due to start in the summer when he too arrives from the Bundesliga.
However, his management group have since refuted such claims and insist the player is only thinking about finishing the season in Dortmund.
‘It is not true.’
‘There is no decision and everything is still open. Ilkay is focusing further on his recovery.’
The German is currently out of action with a foot injury and missed the 3-2 loss at home to England on Saturday night.
