Arsenal and Man City alerted on availability of Real’s Spanish supremo

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City have been put on alert by the news that Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for Spanish midfield star Isco during the summer transfer window, according to the Sunday People.

James Rodriguez has recovered from a broken foot and the club have targeted Paul Pogba of Juventus or Marco Veratti of Paris Saint-Germain as their two primary transfer targets.

If they can seal a deal for either of those players then they will listen to bids for 22-year-old Isco for around £35 million.

The Spanish international played the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Malaga but failed to impress.

His first-team chances could be boosted by an injury to Luka Modric, with the Croatian limping off during the victory amid fears he could be out for up to six weeks.

That result took Real two points behind Barcelona in the La Liga table with both sides having four games remaining.
