Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has continued to splash the cash as the club announce the signing of Marlos Moreno, report their official website.
The Colombian international has penned a five-year deal with the club after arriving from Atletico Nacional, though will be loaned out to Deportivo La Coruna.
Included in their Copa America squad, the 19-year old has 7 international caps and is versatile across the frontline.
He becomes the club’s third signing this WEEK, following the likes of Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus through the door and takes Guardiola’s spending through the £100m barrier this summer.
Having won the Copa Liberatadores with his former charges, Moreno has made quite the impression on world football, after notching three goals in his opening three games.
While it’s unlikely that he will break the club’s first-team, a look to the future from Guardiola has put the club in good stead going forward.
”City are one of the best clubs in the world. It will be nice to experience being part of such a big Club. I want to make the most of it”, he told the official website.
“Pep Guardiola is one of the best managers in the world. I think he likes young players very much and he can improve young players tactically and technically. It will be great to work with him and to be part of a great team.”
