According to an exclusive report from 90min, Manchester City are considering Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as a potential long-term replacement for their ageing star Sergio Aguero.
Even though the Argentine has been an outstanding servant to the Citizens’ badge, netting 252 goals and 72 assists in 363 games played for the team, he is slowly but surely heading towards the twilight of his career.
And upon seeing this report from 90min, lots of the Citizens faithful were simply delighted with the mooted transfer target.
One fan labelled Haaland as the right man for the job and with eight goals and one assist in five games for Dortmund he truly looks like a fascinating prospect.

Given his prowess in the Bundesliga, it doesn’t come as a surprise that many City fans would take him in an instant and urged the club to land the young prodigy if possible.
One of the supporters even stated that it would be something of a dream to land the 19-year-old striker…

But while most were happy that Haaland is reportedly on the current champions’ radar, some were also quick to point out that the club should’ve moved for him before he was snapped up by Dortmund.
Perhaps this reveals a potential blind spot in City’s scouting network.
Scratch your head at why we didn’t go for him directly from Salzburg. Same with Rodri from Villarreal.

Our scouting system needs to improve significantly we should’ve got him long time ago
