The 24-year-old recorded 94 saves from 36 league outings last season, alongside an impressive twelve clean sheets, ranking fourth throughout the Spanish top flight.

And according to The Express, City are looking to sign Rulli to provide competition for under-fire No.1 Joe Hart, who was one of the biggest culprits behind England’s shock elimination from Euro 2016 at the hands of Iceland.

It’s claimed the Etihad outfit are set to sign the 6 foot 2 shot-stopper in a £7.5million deal and Rulli would join a strong Argentine contingent at Eastlands, also including full-back Pablo Zabaleta, Sergio Aguero and fellow goalkeeper Willy Caballero.
