It’s been a fantastic start to the season for Manchester City, with all of Pep Guardiola’s first ten fixtures in charge having been won with relative ease, but things could get a little tougher in the coming weeks.
During a 3-1 win over Swansea City on Saturday, star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne hobbled off with a hamstring injury that could see him out for a month – according to The Express.
Consequentially, the Belgium international could miss some massive fixtures for City, not least including a Premier League clash with Tottenham next weekend and a visit to Barcelona in the Champions League.
City are by no means a one-man team but De Bruyne has been phenomenal this season, claiming two goals and four assists in six Premier League appearances whilst averaging 3.3 created chances-per-match.
We at FootballFanCast like to bring the opinion of the fanbase into the discussion as much as possible, so we’ve got a simple question for City supporters; can your side cope without the almighty KDB?
Let us know your thoughts and we’ll post the results later this week!
