Incoming Man City boss outlines £130m star duo as key summer targets

Pep Guardiola has outlined mega-money pair Paul Pogba and John Stones as two key targets ahead of his summer move to Manchester City, according to reports the Daily Mail.

The Spaniard is set to succeed Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, with the Citizens having made the much-anticipated decision official on Monday.

It’s since been suggested that Guardiola will be backed to the tune of £150m in order to build a squad capable of challenging on all fronts, and reports claim that £80m Juventus midfielder Pogba and Everton’s £50m-rated Stones on his agenda.

Pogba is known to be one of the most highly-rated midfielders on the planet and has been a big hit since he left Manchester United as a youngster.

Stones meanwhile has emerged as one of English football’s top centre-backs, and has been lauded for his ball-playing ability from the back.
