Man City ace backs attacking talents to shine in Chelsea tie

Yaya Toure (Manchester City)Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure believes that the Sky Blues’ attacking talents can help the club to secure a weekend win over Chelsea.

Despite the season being in its infancy, Sunday’s clash is already being billed as one that could have a massive impact in the race for the Premier League title.

City and Chelsea are seen by many as the favourites to lift the crown next year, with Manchester United having made a below par start to the campaign.

The Citizens have been a little inconsistent so far, but are really finding their feet thanks, in part, to the form of striking double act Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo.

Toure – who has also been in fine form – believes that City’s forward thinking players may have a big impact against the Blues, and hopes that they can help to secure an important win:

“I hope he (Aguero) continues in this form! Him, David Silva, Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas, even Samir Nasri is coming and Edin Dzeko too – we have fantastic strikers, they are very strong, and I hope they will continue to do a good job for the club.” He is quoted by the Manchester Evening News.

“It’s very important to go with this confidence because Chelsea are a big rival. It’s an important club. We need to get a result on Sunday and I hope we will win this game.”

Can Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo secure victory against Chelsea?
