Man City ace offered incredible £24m for China move

Yaya Toure could be offered an eye watering £24m after tax to quit Manchester City next summer, according to the Sun.

The Ivorian is another big name Premier League star understood to be on the shortlist to help launch the Chinese Super League as a global brand.

Mega rich Shanghai SIPG, coached by former England boss Sven Goran-Eriksson, are thought to be close to offering the former Barcelona star a three-year deal equivalent to £300,000 a week in England.

Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney had been linked with the same club, as well as veteran Chelsea captain John Terry as the CSL prepare to launch a global brand for football in the Far East.

Toure, who has infamously threatened to leave the Etihad before, could be in line for one last day huge pay day as he enters the final years of his career.

He has just one year left on his deal with the club and the 32-year old is unlikely to receive a bigger wage packet, worth around £8m a year, than the one thought to be offered by the Chinese outfit.
