The Sweden international joined the Glasgow giants on a season-long basis over the summer after sliding down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium due to competition and a series of injuries.
Since moving north of the border the 22-year-old has impressed, notching nine goals in nine outings for the Bhoys.
With his side struggling this term, Celtic boss Ronny Delia is said to be desperate to keep the Scandinavian, which has led to reports of a £3m move in the New Year, even though his contract with City is due to expire at the end of the campaign.
Although Guidetti says that he’s happy with the Hoops, he is not ready to comment on his long-term plans just yet:
“When you play for a club like Celtic, it’s an honour to wear the shirt and you have to cherish every moment,” he is quoted by talkSPORT.
“I just want to keep playing as long as I can and just enjoy it – go out and give 100% every time I go out and play.
“If you start looking too far ahead you aren’t going to be successful.”
