Man City agree terms with CL winner amid Guardiola overhaul

Manchester City are closing in on a deal for Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, according to Mundo Deportivo (via the Daily Mail.)

One of the major themes amid a summer of intense reports following Pep Guardiola’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium has been his search for a more technically gifted stopper.

With the Spaniard having dropped Joe Hart to the bench for his opening game against Sunderland, there have been a number of names touted as the man to take the England international’s gloves.

However, the report claims that the Chilean stopper has AGREED TERMS with the Premier League giants, with his camp reportedly seeing a switch to England as close.

Though he has a £36m clause inserted into his deal with Blaugrana, the Sky Blues are understood to be confident of reaching an agreement more towards £21m.

The 33-year old has impressed since joining the Catalan juggernauts since moving from Real Sociedad, winning two La Liga titles and the Champions League.
