Man City chasing down three transfer deals, striker wanted

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Manchester City are making a ‘concerted effort’ to offload misfit trio Wilfried Bony, Eliaquim Mangala and Yaya Toure.

All three were left out of the squad that travelled to Romania this week to face Steaua Bucharest, who the Citizens thrashed five-nil yesterday evening.

Toure’s agent – the notorious Dimitri Seluk – recently told Sky Sports that the Ivory Coast international is keen to stay on at the Etihad and earn a place in Pep Guardiola’s first team plans.

But The Daily Mail insist City are working to sell the 33-year-old this summer, alongside struggling defender Mangala and goalshy striker Wilfried Bony.

Pep Guardiola is keen to bring in another striker, but knows he must raise funds and get high earners – such as Toure – off the Etihad wage bill first.

The Citizens gaffer is also hoping to wrap up a transfer deal for Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo this week.
