Man City enter £80m race for downcast Chelsea superstar

Manchester City have sensationally joined the race for Chelsea star Eden Hazard, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Belgian has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this season following a hugely disappointing period this term.

Despite winning the Player of the Year award during the Blues’ title win under Jose Mourinho, the 24-year has since struggled for form and fitness.

Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have all been rumoured to be interested in the former Lille winger in potential huge money moves.

Now, those behind the scenes at the Etihad Stadium are said to be keen on adding the player to the growing list of Belgian players plying their trade at the club.

The impact of Kevin De Bruyne and skipper Vincent Kompany is said to have swayed decision makers at Eastlands into plotting a stunning £80m bid.

Hazard arrived in West London back in 2012 for around £32m.
