Manchester City fans have given mixed opinions on the reports that the club are after Jadon Sancho. The report from Sport Bild also suggests City will be facing competition from gargantuan clubs across Spain and England, such as Barcelona and Manchester United.
Sancho has established himself as one of Europe’s best young talents ever since he left the Citizens for Borussia Dortmund. The 19-year-old bagged 12 goals in the Bundesliga last year and won the ‘assist king’ prize after contributing 14 assists.
Sancho has since become an integral part of Gareth Southgate’s England setup and rightfully so become one of Europe’s most wanted men. However, this does not seem to be enough for all City fans. One fan said they “wouldn’t pay 50p” for him as is overrated.
Another supporter simply stated that “City is your home” and pleaded him to return.
A lot of fans have also alluded to the fact that he could replace Leroy Sane, with the German subject to heavy interest from Bayern Munich.
It does look like this transfer, however, has split the fanbase. Some fans are slightly unforgiving of the time he left, whilst others are aware of his incredible ability.
Here’s what some of them have had to say…
Sancho comeback! 👍 City is your home. ComeOn

I’m hoping City put a “first refusal clause” as part of the deal.
