Manchester City have been hit by a major injury crisis ahead of their crunch Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain next week, report the Daily Mail.
With a trip to the French capital on Wednesday to contend with, manager Manuel Pellegrini will be without a number of key first-team stars for the quarter-final clash.
Joe Hart and Raheem Sterling continue to miss out following their injuries in the Manchester derby, while skipper Vincent Kompany has suffered yet another problem.
The Belgian has missed swathes of the season with a multitude of thigh issues and limped off in the previous round against Dinamo Kiev.
The trio will be joined in the treatment room by Yaya Toure, who has been sidelined with a knee injury.
‘It’s difficult for the three of them,’ revealed the Chilean.
‘Not only Yaya and Joe Hart, but also Vincent Kompany. I’m not 100 per cent sure but it will be difficult for them to play (against PSG) on Wednesday.’
Despite the welcome return of both Kevin De Bruyne and Samir Nasri, it is clearly not ideal preparation for the club’s first ever game at this stage of the Champions League.
