Man City in hunt for Liverpool & Man United target

Manchester City are firmly in the hunt for Manchester United and Liverpool target Marco Reus, according to reports from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The German winger is expected to leave Dortmund in the not too distant future after rejecting the chance to extend his current contract.

A clause in the deal he has with BVB means that a £20m release clause will kick in next summer, which has alerted a host of Europe’s top clubs.

And with the player set to receive multiple offers when the season ends, talk of a January bidding war has begun with the likes of Liverpool and United keen to avoid widespread competition.

And now City are also in the mix, with Manuel Pellegrini a fan of the versatile attacker.

Reus is currently one of European football’s most highly-rated talents, and has been a key member of Dortmund’s team through their recent successes – including their 2013 Champions League Final appearance.
