If you’re not getting minutes on the pitch, play FIFA 14. Which is something Micah Richards has obviously been taking seriously after the defender beat Man City team-mate 2-0 to take the club's FIFA 14 Championship title.

City players Micah Richards and Jack Rodwell battled it out at Carrington training ground, on the new Xbox One, to see who would be crowned the ultimate FIFA 14 Champion. Both England internationals have failed to cement a place in Man City’s squad this season, due to the arrival of a number of new summer signings.

But in the world of EA Sports blockbuster game, Micah Richards stayed faithful to his club, selecting to be Man City and carrying on their good run of form. Jack Rodwell similarly mirrored AC Milan’s bad form, by foolishly choosing to be the Italian side, eventually losing 2-0 to a rampant Richards.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Micah Richards selected himself and fellow team mate Jack Rodwell to start the game, just to give them both a boost of confidence following a lack of games in the real world!
