Man City to follow £37m Sane deal with £38m trio of transfers this week

Manchester City are hopeful of tying up deals for Gabriel Jesus, Marlos Moreno and Geronimo Rulli by the end of the week at a combined cost of £38m, according to reports from the Telegraph.

The Citizens completed the most expensive Premier League deal of the current transfer window so far by snapping up Leroy Sane from Schalke on Tuesday for £37m.

The German winger became the club’s fifth addition of the Pep Guardiola era, but reports claim that the coming days will see a further flurry of activity.

It’s understood that Palmeiras’ Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus will be signed for £26m, Moreno from Atletico Nacional for £8m and Deportivo Maldonado’s Rulli for £4m.

However, all three will be shipped out on loan in a bid to further their development.

Should the deals get over the line, City’s total spend this window will edge close to the £150m mark.
