After just ten minutes of Manchester City’s clash with Hull, Vincent Kompany found himself all in a tangle. The usually composed Belgian allowed Nikica Jelavic past him before wrestling the Croatian to the deck. Naturally the red card followed with the Hull man through on goal, leaving Kompany angered and disappointed. On his way down the tunnel the City ace kicked out at the wall with the cameras focused upon him. With a ban on the way, will his absence de-rail the Sky Blues’ title hopes?

Just seen Kompany red card decision. Would've been the correct one had he not been fouled just before. No chance of an appeal there then…

Not sure how Vincent Kompany can argue with that red card, it was blatant and he was the last man, stone cold sending off
