Manchester City fans aren’t happy with Guardiola’s XI to face Arsenal

Manchester City vs. Arsenal is arguably the biggest match of the Premier League weekend and we’re not far away from what should be a dramatic and exciting 90 minutes.

Whoever wins will move into 2nd place behind Chelsea, who again won yesterday. There’s a lot at stake given the form of the Stamford Bridge club, if one of these teams lose today they’ll be cut adrift from the league leaders.

That’s why both sets of fans were so eager to see this afternoon’s team selection and it’s City supporters who are the unhappier ahead of kick-off.

With no recognised striker leading the line and the inclusion of Kolarov at centre-back, the announcement is perplexing City fans who know how important victory is today for their side’s season.

Is it a tactical masterstroke from Guardiola, still without Aguero and Fernandinho? Or is this a calamity waiting to happen with Alexis Sanchez likely to give Kolarov a tough afternoon? We’ll find out soon.

In the meantime City fans appear to be tearing their hair out at the prospect of a long afternoon at the Etihad…
