Jerome Boateng spent just one season at Manchester City during the 2010-11 campaign and he managed to claim an FA Cup winners’ medal.
The Germany international had a much better run at Bayern Munich, though, where he has been plying his trade since leaving the North-West outfit seven years ago.
During that time, Boateng has won six Bundesliga titles, three DFB Pokals, the DFL Supercup twice and the Champions League.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the German giants are willing to offload the 29-year-old this summer, and it is believed that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is interested.
This news has sparked a conversation among City fans, with some considering whether their club should try to re-sign Boateng.
Pep Guardiola has a number of options at the back, including Vincent Kompany, Nicolas Otamendi, John Stones and Aymeric Laporte.
It is unsure how much game time Boateng would be offered if he was to return to City, but some fans think it is worth a punt.
Others, though, think that their club should stay away.
