Manchester City loanee Tosin Adarabioyo delighted with Blackburn’s early form

Premiership Picks

Manchester City’s Tosin Adarabioyo has once again been loaned out to the Championship.

He spent last season on loan with West Brom, where he was a crucial component in their squad as they finished in the top six, but fell short in the play-offs.

This term he’s looking to test himself at a lesser side, as he joined last season’s 15th place club Blackburn Rovers.

How would Lionel Messi fare in this current Man City side? Find out in the video below…

Despite the fact Adarabioyo has only played one game for the Lancashire club due to injury, he took to Instagram to state how happy he is with their start to the season.

Can’t wait to get back but what a great start to the season from my boys! @Rovers ??

Rovers had a very tough start to the season. They lost their opening two games against high-flying Charlton Athletic and pre-season promotion hopefuls Fulham, but since then they’ve hit a bit of form.

They’re unbeaten in their last three against some tough sides as they’ve played Middlesbrough, Hull and Cardiff, winning two and drawing one.

They’ve also kept three clean sheets in a row, and while Adarabioyo is buzzing with the performances his new team are putting in, this defensive resilience doesn’t bode well for his first-team ambitions.

If Tony Mowbray’s side continue to be so defensively sound the Man City loanee may find it hard to break into the squad, but at the moment he seems to be happy watching from the touchline as long as his team keep up the good form.
