The arrival of Wilfried Bony to Manchester City has alerted Fenerbahce as they consider luring Edin Dzeko to the club with a potential £12million offer, the Daily Mail reports.
The 28-year-old has failed to replicate the impact he made in the previous season as he has now only registered four goals despite netting 26 in the previous campaign.
He is expected to have a very limited role due to the fact that Sergio Aguero is back to full fitness and the club have only recently signed Bony from Swansea City.
Fenerbahce president Aziz Yeldrim is open to making an offer of around the £12m region, but it is said that City will only consider his sale in the summer.
Dzeko completed his switch from Wolfsburg back in the 2011 January window for a fee of £27million, scoring 48 goals from a total of 119 appearances so far.
He was brought on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea at the weekend, but could be moved down the pecking order once Bony returns from the African Cup of Nations.
