Manchester City are set to make another approach for Real Madrid’s Isco, according to FoxSports.
Isco is believed to be frustrated at his lack of starts since the appointment of under-pressure manager Rafa Benitez.
Real Madrid are fresh off the back of a thrashing to their bitter rivals Barcelona and it is thought that this has further increased discontent with certain members of the squad.
Previously, Isco has been linked as the long-term David Silva replacement for Manchester City and the Spaniard’s previous links with Manuel Pellegrini are meant to be a key motivating factor behind any potential transfer.
However, the additions of Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling last summer may mean that an attacking player would need to be sold if Isco was to be signed.
The Spanish international is capable of playing anywhere across the midfield and could even be used as a false nine if Wilfried Bony and Sergio Aguero continue to suffer with such regular injuries.
