The witchhunt is all but over for the man who incited such hatred for what we can only assume to be his decision to wave goodbye to the nation’s sweetheart, Liverpool, and join the club people seem to love to hate, Manchester City.
Indeed, the pitchforks and torches have been exchanged for party poppers and glow sticks as everyone in the industry now kisses the Manchester City winger’s feet and praises him for what he is: an extremely talented player, better than Neymar even, according to some.
