Manchester City’s biggest 16/17 Premier League fixtures

This has to be one of the most anticipated seasons in Manchester City’s history, as super-manager Pep Guardiola begins his challenge of turning the club in to a worldwide super-club.

Last season was a funny one for the Citizens. They only just scraped a top four finish by virtue of goal difference, but they reached the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in their history and won the Capital One Cup.

However, that was deemed to be a failure for Manuel Pellegrini and the oil-rich owners of the club will be expecting Guardiola to do far better than that during his time at the club.

Of course, the big narrative Pep’s arrival creates is his first ever Manchester Derby, which will also coincide with being reunited with old foe Jose Mourinho.

And of course, some fans will also have an eye on Guardiola and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp meeting eachother once again after their previous rivalry in the Bundesliga.

So here are the key dates Man City fans will need to note down in their diaries ahead of the 16/17 season…
