Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling speaks out after racial abuse from Bulgaria fans

Fortunately, the victims of this abuse weren’t willing to let this slide, and once again Raheem Sterling stepped up to the plate to make his voice heard.

Sterling quickly took to Twitter to call the opposition fans “idiots”, before rubbing in the fact that his team beat them 6-0 – well in Raheem.

The winger went on to criticise their manager for some comments he’d made earlier in the week.

It’s great to see Sterling once again making a stand against this type of behaviour. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the Man City man has had to do this and it may not be the last, but the fact that he’s continuously speaking out can only be a good thing.
